Day 01 : Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai airport and meet our representative. Then transfer to the hotel and check-in at the hotel. Today in the evening just walk past the Marine Drive and feel the magical aura of dream city Mumbai. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 02 : Mumbai
Post breakfast, you set out your Mumbai sightseeing tour. Tour the Gateway of India, Prince of Wales museum, Flora fountain, Rajabhai clock towers, Marine drive, Malabar hill, Jehangir Art gallery, Keenest Eliyahoo Synagogue, Town hall, Wellington fountain, Jain temples, Hanging garden, St. John church, Sanjay Gandhi National park, Film city, Hajji Ali Dargah, Mahalaxmi temple, etc.

Don’t miss a visit to Chowpathy beach and Juhu Beach. In the evening you can explore the colorful bazaars of Mumbai.

Day 03 : Mumbai-Aurangabad
On the 3rd day of Ajanta and Ellora tour with Mumbai, you will drive to Aurangabad, the industrial city of Maharashtra state as well the gateway to Ajanta Ellora World Heritage Sites.

Malik Ambar, the Nizam Shahi ruler founded the Aurangabad city in 1610. Then Aurangzeb invading the states of Deccan formed this city and renamed it. This city also houses some heritage attractions like Aurangabad caves and Daulatabad Fort.

On arrival take the hotel. Then sightseeing tour in Aurangabad. Visit Bibi ka Maqbara, Naukonda palace, Himroo factory, Dargah of Baba Shah Musafir, etc. Then after dinner, stay overnight.

Day 04 : Ajanta Caves (World Heritage Site)
Post breakfast, proceed towards the Ajanta village which houses the Ajanta Caves. The caves of Ajanta are masterpieces of Buddhist Art and date back to the 2nd century BC. Explore the Ajanta cave temple, and the monasteries, the statue of Buddha signifying pari nirvana, etc. The caves of Ajanta proved that Buddhism was flourished in this region before the Common Era.

Then back to your hotel of Aurangabad. If you have time you can do shopping in the markets. Have diner and stay overnight.

Day 05 : Ellora (World Heritage Site)
Post breakfast, drive to Ellora Caves. This world heritage site comprises the Buddhists caves, Jain caves and Hindu caves excavated out of the Charanandri hills. All the caves of Ellora are known for their superb art and architecture. These caves were built by the Rashtrakuta rulers. The total 34 caves of Ellora symbolize the India rock cut architecture.

After exploration of the caves, return back to the Aurangabad hotel.

Day 06 : Aurangabad-Mumbai
On the concluding day of the Ajanta Ellora Caves tour with Mumbai drive back to Aurangabad. You can also take flight to Mumbai from Aurangabad airport and then board your onward flight at Mumbai International Airport.
