Devotees from all over the world visit the village of Shirdi, a revered pilgrimage centre related to the 20th century saint Shri Sathya Sai Baba who is considered as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The Shirdi village is revered as it has relation with the teachings of Sai Baba who devoted his life for the upliftment of the poor and he meditated at this village on the later days of his life. This Mumbai tour package covers the Shirdi village and the World heritage sties-Ajanta and Ellora.

Day 01 : Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening walk past the Marine Drive which is called Queen’s Necklace. It is the most glamorous boulevard in Mumbai and it connects to Nariman point to Malabar hills. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 02 : Mumbai
Post breakfast, set out your full day sightseeing tour in Mumbai. Tour the prestigious Gateway of India, Mahalaxmi temple, Sidhi Vinayak Temple, Jain temple and at the tomb of the Muslim saint Haji Ali, Prince of Wales Museum, Taraporewala Aquarium and many more. Don’t miss a visit to the National Gallery of Modern Art and the Jehangir Art Gallery. In the evening soak up in the carnival spirit of Juhu beach or Chowpatty Beach. After an exotic dinner, stay overnight.

Day 03 : Mumbai-Aurangabad
Have breakfast at the hotel. Then drive towards Aurangabad. Check in at the hotel. Then visit the Daulatabad Fort, the erstwhile Hindu Fort which became the capital of the Delhi Sultanate Also tour the Bibi-Ka-Maqbara built by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb as a mausoleum to his wife Rabia-ud-Durrani. This is known as mini Taj. Explore the markets of Aurangabad.

 

Day 04 : Ajanta Caves
After breakfast, you will be taken to Ajanta caves, a World Heritage Site. The caves of Ajanta date back to 1st and 2nd centuries BC. The Buddhist caves of Ajanta houses the rock cut architecture of the temples and monasteries. The paintings of Ajanta are a feast to the art lovers. Explore the caves of Ajanta.

Day 05 : Ellora-Shirdi
After breakfast, you will be taken to Ellora Caves located near Aurangabad. The paintings and sculpture of Ellora date back to 5th to 7th centuries AD. The main caves of Ellora comprises of caves of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The elements of Ellora Buddhist caves are drawn from the Vajrayana school of Buddhism. The major attraction is the Kailasa temple, one of the main rock cut temple architectures of India.

Then check out the hotel and drive to Shirdi, the pilgrimage centre of the Hindus. On arrival take the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 06 : Shirdi
On the 6th day of Shirdi Sai Baba Tour with Mumbai, you will visit the temples of Shirdi village. First visit the Mahasamadhi temple of Sai Baba which houses a life statue of Sai Baba made of white marble. This temple can accommodate 600 people together. Devotees from across the globe come to offer prayers to the saint at this temple. The first floor of the temple has a collection of pictures which depict the life of Sai Baba, the 20th century saint. On the right side of the temple entrance you will see the Dwarkamai Mandir, the meditation ground of Sai Baba. Visit also other attractions such as Kandoba Temple, Shani Mandir, Narsimha Mandir, Changdev Maharaj Samadhi and the Sakori.

Day 07 : Shirdi-Mumbai
Your Mumbai with Shirdi tour comes to an end. Drive back to Mumbai and on arrival you will be transferred to the airport.
